Gods Favor be upon you this Week.

Gods Favor be upon you this Week.

What do we mean by the word Favour? Favour means God stepping into one’s situation to make a worthwhile difference. Favour is the highway to connect your destiny. In Genesis 6:8, the Bible says: “But Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord.”

When you are connected to favour, you are connected to good and grace. Favour and grace with mercy, are all interwoven to one another. A man cannot amount to anything in life without divine connection. It is he that is loved of God that obtain God’s favour. When you are under grace, economic situation of your environment will not have any effect on you.

Even when you are in an environment that is hostile, when God’s favour is upon you,you will be distinguished. One of the key things you greatly require to enjoy God’s favour is, you must love God and do His will. In Genesis 39:4, the Bible says: “And Joseph found grace in his sight and served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.”

Favor can also be referred to as exceptional kindness and privilege from God. II Samuel 9:1says “And David said, is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”

If you look at that chapter vividly, even in the midst of the stigma that Mephibosheth came, God still favour him before the king, in the midst of all the children of Saul and his grandchildren, God found one person worthy and that person is Mephibosheth.

Everyone that Saul lost via his carelessness and disobedience to God’s instructions, it is the least person that by human standard cannot be seen to enjoy favour from God.

Remember Mephibosheth is the grandson of Saul (Jonathan’s son). When favour locates a man, God does not look at your challenges, God does not look at your position, God does not look at the situation around you. Verse 17 of that same scripture says: “And David said unto him, fear not: for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.”

One thing I want you to know is that, when God’s favour is upon you, you will gain access to the palace and when you gain access to the palace, you will see the face of the king, and when you see the face of the king, you will always return with your miracle.

In Esther 2:15-17, the Bible says: “Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who has taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her”. In verse 16: “So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the 17th year of his reign, thank God we are in the 10th month of the year.

Look at what verse 17 says: “And the king loved Esther above all the women and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the Royal Crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.” II Samuel 9:9-10, the Bible says “Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shall bring in the fruits, that thy Master’s son may have food to eat: but Mephibo-sheth thy Master’s son shall eat bread always at my table. Now Ziba had 15 sons and 20 servants.

The same man that the devil want-ed to use to deny Mephibosheth of his benefit by the way of his utterances, was the same man and his entire household became servant unto Mephibosheth.

Favour also can be termed: it is about people flocking around your shop to purchase items above your competitors. God’s favour upon Noah exempted him and his household from the flood, David was defended from King Saul’s death sentence. Favour is a defense.

May it be upon You!
